Overview

This association started with the founding of the Korea Air Cargo Association in 1969, and was sequentially integrated with the Korea International Multimodal Transport Association, which was established in 1977 and Korea Intermodal Transport Association, established in accordance with the Freight Distribution Promotion Act enacted in 1991 (revisioned to the Framework Act on Logistics Policy in February 2008). Currently, it consists of it consists of about 700 members of 4,500 International Freight Forwarders.

Major Business

For the past 50 years, the association has been working hard to strengthen the global freight forwarding competitiveness of the international freight forwarding industry. In addition to training, we are discovering and promoting new tasks such as suggestions and solutions to the government for the revision of various laws and regulations related to the international freight forwarding industry (including maritime and aviation).
